وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَرَأَ ( فِي عَيْنٍ حَمِئَةٍ ) . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ ، عَنْ شَيْخِهِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ الْمِصْرِيِّ ، ضَعَّفَهُ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: "fi 'aynin hami'ah" (in a spring of dark mud).
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir from his teacher al-Walid bin al-Abbas al-Misri, whom al-Daraqutni (may Allah have mercy on him) declared da'if (weak).
