وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ : قَرَأَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - "إِنَّهُ عَمِلَ غَيْرَ صَالِحٍ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ الْأَزْرَقِ ، وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyidah Aishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse as: "Indeed, he did a deed that is not righteous."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Humayd bin al-Azraq, whom I do not know, and the remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
