وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " أُنْزِلَ الْقُرْآنُ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَحْرُفٍ ، وَمِرَاءٌ فِي الْقُرْآنِ كُفْرٌ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، وَهُوَ حَسَنُ الْحَدِيثِ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Qur'an has been revealed in seven ahruf, and disputing (or disagreeing) about the Qur'an is disbelief (kufr)."
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin Amr, who is hasan al-hadith (fair in hadith), and the remaining narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih.
