وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ - قَالَ : إِنَّ هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ لَيْسَ مِنْهُ حَرْفٌ إِلَّا لَهُ حَدٌّ ، وَلِكُلِّ حَدٍّ مَطْلَعٌ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: "Indeed, every single harf of this Qur'an has a specific limit, and every limit has a point of ascent."
