وَعَنْ سَعْدٍ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ قَرَأَ ( قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ) فَكَأَنَّمَا قَرَأَ ثُلُثَ الْقُرْآنِ ، وَمَنْ قَرَأَ ( قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ ) فَكَأَنَّمَا قَرَأَ رُبْعَ الْقُرْآنِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمْ .
Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever recites Surah al-Ikhlas, it is as though he has recited one third of the Qur'an; and whoever recites Surah al-Kafirun, it is as though he has recited one quarter of the Qur'an."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir, and its chain contains narrators whom I do not know.
