Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 11538

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Shikhkhir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever recites Surah al-Ikhlas during the illness in which he dies will not be put to trial in his grave and will be safe from the squeezing of the grave; and on the Day of Resurrection the angels will carry him on their palms until they take him across the Sirat and bring him to Paradise."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and said: It is narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) only with this chain. Its chain contains Nasr bin Hammad al-Warraq, who is matruk (abandoned).
