Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was seated. He looked at a hole that was in front of him and said: "Even if hardship were to come and enter this hole, ease would come and bring it out." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: "Indeed, with every hardship there is ease; indeed, with every hardship there is ease."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and al-Bazzar recorded something similar; its chain contains A'idh bin Shurayh, who is da'if (weak).
