عَنْ عَلِيٍّ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ - قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يُحِبُّ هَذِهِ السُّورَةَ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ ثُوَيْرُ بْنُ أَبِي فَاخِتَةَ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) loved this surah: "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High."
Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Thuwayr bin Abi Fakhitah, who is matruk (abandoned).
