عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ - مُدْهَامَّتَانِ ، فَقَالَ : " خَضْرَاوَانِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ وَاصِلُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates about the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about this statement of Allah Almighty (Allah Almighty says): "Mudhammatan". He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Both of them are green.
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains the narrator Wasil bin al-Sa'ib, who is matruk (abandoned).
