قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : إِذْ يَغْشَى السِّدْرَةَ مَا يَغْشَى .
The words of Allah the Exalted: "When there covered the Lote Tree that which covered it"

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ إِذْ يَغْشَى السِّدْرَةَ مَا يَغْشَى قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " رَأَيْتُهَا حَتَّى اسْتَثْبَتُّهَا ، ثُمَّ حَالَ دُونَهَا فِرَاشُ الذَّهَبِ " . رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ جُوَيْبِرٌ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated (Allah Almighty says): "When the Lote Tree was covered by that which covered it." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I saw it until I had examined it closely, and then golden moths came in between (me and it).
