قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُنَادُونَكَ مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْحُجُرَاتِ .

وَعَنِ الْأَقْرَعِ بْنِ حَابِسٍ أَنَّهُ نَادَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْحُجُرَاتِ فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، فَلَمْ يُجِبْهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقَالَ : يَا مُحَمَّدُ ، إِنْ حَمْدِي زَيْنٌ وَإِنَّ ذَمِّي لَشَيْنٌ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " ذَاكُمُ اللَّهُ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " . كَمَا حَدَّثَ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَأَحَدُ إِسْنَادَيْ أَحْمَدَ رِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ إِنْ كَانَ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ سَمِعَ مِنَ الْأَقْرَعِ ، وَإِلَّا فَهُوَ مُرْسَلٌ كَإِسْنَادِ أَحْمَدَ الْآخَرِ .
It is reported about al-Aqra' bin Habis that he called out to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from outside the apartments and said: "O Messenger of Allah!" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not answer him. He said: "O Muhammad! Praise spoken by me is a source of honour, and blame spoken by me is a source of disgrace." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That belongs only to Allah Almighty (exclusively)." This is as the narrator Abu Salamah related it.
Ahmad and al-Tabarani recorded it. One of Ahmad's chains has narrators who are the narrators of the Sahih, if the narrator Abu Salamah heard from al-Aqra' bin Habis; otherwise
this narration is counted as mursal, like the chain of Ahmad's other narration.
