29 - 48 - سُورَةُ الْحُجُرَاتِ قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَكُمْ فَوْقَ صَوْتِ النَّبِيِّ .
Surah al-Hujurat, and the words of Allah the Exalted: "O you who believe, do not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet"

عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ - يَعْنِي الصِّدِّيقَ - قَالَ : لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَكُمْ فَوْقَ صَوْتِ النَّبِيِّ قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، وَاللَّهِ لَا أُكَلِّمُكَ إِلَّا كَأَخِي السِّرَارِ . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ حُصَيْنُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْأَحْمَسِيُّ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ وَقَدْ وَثَّقَهُ الْعِجْلِيُّ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When this verse was revealed: (Allah Almighty says:) "O you who believe! Do not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet," I said: "O Messenger of Allah! By Allah! From now on, whenever I speak with you, I will speak as one speaks in a whisper."
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains Husayn bin Amr al-Ahmasi, who is matruk (abandoned), though al-Ijli declared him thiqah (trustworthy); the rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
