Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 11334

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taught me to recite a surah from the "Ha Mim" surahs, namely Surah al-Ahqaf. The narrator said: When a surah had more than thirty verses, it was given the name "Thalathin" (Thirty).
Ahmad recorded it with two chains, the narrators of one of which are thiqat (trustworthy).
