عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقْرَأُ : بَلَى قَدْ جَاءَتْكَ آيَاتِي فَكَذَّبْتَ بِهَا وَاسْتَكْبَرْتَ وَكُنْتَ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ عَلَى الْجَرِّ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ .
Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recite this verse: "Yes! My signs came to you, and you denied them, and you were arrogant, and you were among the disbelievers." That is, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited it with the jarr (kasrah, i.e. addressing a female).
