قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : قَالُوا رَبَّنَا مَنْ قَدَّمَ لَنَا هَذَا .
The words of Allah the Exalted: "They will say: Our Lord, whoever brought this upon us"
Majma al-Zawaid 11309 — The words of Allah the Exalted
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ - قَالُوا رَبَّنَا مَنْ قَدَّمَ لَنَا هَذَا فَزِدْهُ عَذَابًا ضِعْفًا فِي النَّارِ قَالَ : أَفَاعِيَ وَحَيَّاتٍ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: (Allah Almighty says:) "They will say: 'Our Lord! Whoever brought this (disbelief, or punishment) upon us, give him a double punishment in the Fire.'" Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: What is meant by this is vipers and snakes.
