39 - 33 - سُورَةُ السَّجْدَةِ قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : تَتَجَافَى جُنُوبُهُمْ عَنِ الْمَضَاجِعِ
Surah al-Sajdah, and the words of Allah the Exalted: "Their sides forsake their beds"
Majma al-Zawaid 11266 — Surah al-Sajdah, and the words of Allah
وَعَنْ بِلَالٍ قَالَ : لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ ( تَتَجَافَى جُنُوبُهُمْ عَنِ الْمَضَاجِعِ ) الْآيَةَ كُنَّا نَجْلِسُ فِي الْمَجْلِسِ وَنَاسٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يُصَلُّونَ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ إِلَى الْعِشَاءِ ، فَنَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ ( تَتَجَافَى جُنُوبُهُمْ عَنِ الْمَضَاجِعِ ) . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ عَنْ شَيْخِهِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَبِيبٍ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When this verse was revealed: (Allah Almighty says:) "Their sides forsake their beds", we were sitting in a gathering, and some of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) kept offering (voluntary) prayer from after Maghrib until Isha; so this verse was revealed about it: "Their sides forsake their beds."
