Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 11262

Abu Razin narrates: Nafi' bin al-Azraq, while disputing with Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), said: "Do you find (the command of) the five prayers in the Book of Allah?" Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) replied: "Yes!" Then Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) recited these verses to him: "So glorify Allah when you reach the evening" - this refers to Maghrib; "and when you reach the morning" - this refers to the Fajr prayer; "and in the late afternoon" - this refers to the Asr prayer; "and when you reach midday" - this refers to the Zuhr prayer; "and after the Isha prayer" - so here the Isha prayer is mentioned.
Al-Tabarani recorded it from his teacher Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Sa'id bin Abi Maryam, who is da'if (weak).
