وَعَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ حَيْدَةَ قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَمْسَحُ يَدَهُ عَلَى فَخِذِهِ وَيَقُولُ : يَوْمَئِذٍ يُوَفِّيهِمُ اللَّهُ دِينَهُمُ الْحَقَّ وَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْحَقُّ الْمُبِينُ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عَوْنُ بْنُ ذَكْوَانَ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ وَقَالَ : يُخْطِئُ وَيُخَالِفُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah bin Haydah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) pass his hand over his thigh and say: "On that Day, Allah Almighty will pay them in full the recompense of their deeds that they deserve, and they will know that Allah Almighty is the Truth, the One who makes (the truth) manifest."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Awn bin Dhakwan, whom Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy), and he said: He makes mistakes and contradicts others. The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
