وَعَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ لَوْلَا إِذْ سَمِعْتُمُوهُ ظَنَّ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتُ يَقُولُ بَعْضُهُمْ : أَلَا تَسْمَعُ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَإِسْنَادُهُ جَيِّدٌ .
Ibn Jurayj said regarding this statement of Allah Almighty: (Allah Almighty says:) "Why, when you heard it, did the believing men and believing women not think." That is, their saying to one another: "Did you not hear this matter?"
