قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَالْإِحْسَانِ .
The saying of Allah the Exalted: "Indeed, Allah orders justice and good conduct"

وَعَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ قَالَ : كُنْتُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - جَالِسًا إِذْ شَخَصَ بِبَصَرِهِ ، ثُمَّ صَوَّبَهُ حَتَّى كَادَ أَنْ يَلْزَقَ بِالْأَرْضِ ، قَالَ : وَشَخَصَ بِبَصَرِهِ قَالَ : " أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَضَعَ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ بِهَذَا الْمَوْضِعِ مِنْ هَذِهِ السُّورَةِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَالْإِحْسَانِ وَإِيتَاءِ ذِي الْقُرْبَى وَيَنْهَى عَنِ الْفَحْشَاءِ وَالْمُنْكَرِ وَالْبَغْيِ يَعِظُكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ " . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
Sayyiduna Uthman bin Abi al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) states: Once I was sitting with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Meanwhile the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) raised his gaze and looked upwards; then he lowered his head, so much so that it almost touched the ground; then he raised his gaze upwards. Then he said: "Jibril (peace be upon him) came to me and told me to place this verse at this place in this surah" (Allah Almighty says:) "Indeed, Allah Almighty commands justice, excellence and giving to near relatives, and He forbids indecency, wrongdoing and transgression. He admonishes you so that you may take heed."
