عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى : كَشَجَرَةٍ طَيِّبَةٍ قَالَ : " هِيَ الَّتِي لَا تَنْفُضُ وَرَقَهَا [ وَظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهَا النَّخْلَةُ ] " .
قُلْتُ : لِابْنِ عُمَرَ حَدِيثٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرُ هَذَا . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
قُلْتُ : لِابْنِ عُمَرَ حَدِيثٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرُ هَذَا . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) concerning this saying of Allah Almighty, (Allah Almighty says:) "Like a good tree." (The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:) "It means the tree whose leaves do not fall." (The narrator says:) I think it means the date palm.
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: A hadith reported from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) is mentioned in the "Sahih," but it is other than this narration.
Imam Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
