Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 11083

Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When this verse was revealed: "And your Lord would not destroy the towns unjustly while their people were reformers," Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: It means that their people deal justly with one another.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Ubayd bin al-Qasim al-Kufi, and he is matruk (abandoned).
