وَعَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " شَيَّبَتْنِي هُودٌ وَأَخَوَاتُهَا : الْوَاقِعَةُ وَالْحَاقَّةُ وَإِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ سَعِيدُ بْنُ سَلَامٍ الْعَطَّارُ وَهُوَ كَذَّابٌ .
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Surah Hud and other surahs like it, Surah al-Waqi'ah, Surah al-Haqqah and Surah al-Takwir, have made me old."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Sa'id bin Sallam al-Attar, and he is a kadhdhab (liar).
