قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : حَتَّى يَلِجَ الْجَمَلُ فِي سَمِّ الْخِيَاطِ .

عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ ( حَتَّى يَلِجَ الْجَمَلُ فِي سَمِّ الْخِيَاطِ ) قَالَ : زَوْجُ النَّاقَةِ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ مِنْ طَرِيقَيْنِ وَرِجَالُ إِحْدَاهُمَا رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، إِلَّا أَنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ النَّخَعِيَّ لَمْ يُدْرِكِ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ ، وَالْأُخْرَى ضَعِيفَةٌ .
It is reported about Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that he used to recite this verse: "Until the jamal passes through the eye of the needle." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: It means the she-camel's mate (i.e. the male camel).
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it through two routes; the narrators of one of them are the narrators of the Sahih, except that the narrator Ibrahim al-Nakha'i did not meet Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), and the other report is da'if (weak).
