Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered him to announce among the people: "Whoever testifies with sincerity that there is no god but Allah, He alone is God and He has no partner, that person will enter Paradise."
Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O Messenger of Allah! In that case they will rely on this alone." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Leave them be!"
Imam Abu Ya'la and Imam al-Bazzar recorded it, but they recorded these words:
Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O Messenger of Allah! Then they will rely on this alone." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Let them rely on it!"
Its chain contains the narrator Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqil, who is da'if (weak) because of his poor memory.
