قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : إِنْ تَجْتَنِبُوا كَبَائِرَ مَا تُنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ نُكَفِّرْ عَنْكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ
The saying of Allah the Exalted: "If you avoid the major sins which you are forbidden, We will remove from you your lesser sins"

عَنْ أَنَسٍ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ - قَالَ : لَمْ نَرَ مِثْلَ الَّذِي بَلَغَنَا عَنْ رَبِّنَا - تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى - ثُمَّ لَمْ نَخْرُجْ لَهُ مِنْ كُلِّ أَهْلٍ وَمَالٍ ، إِنْ تَجَاوَزَ لَنَا عَنْ مَا دُونَ الْكَبَائِرِ ، يَقُولُ اللَّهُ - تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى - : ( إِنْ تَجْتَنِبُوا كَبَائِرَ مَا تُنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ نُكَفِّرْ عَنْكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَنُدْخِلْكُمْ مُدْخَلًا كَرِيمًا ) .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَفِيهِ الْجَلْدُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "We have not seen anything like the commands that have reached us from our Lord, yet we did not give up our families and wealth for it; and He has overlooked for us those (sins) which are below the major sins. He has said: 'If you avoid the major sins which you are forbidden, We will remove your evil deeds from you and admit you to a noble entrance.'"
