قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتًا .
The saying of Allah the Exalted: "And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead"

وَعَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ قَالَ : لَمَّا أُصِيبَ حَمْزَةُ وَأَصْحَابُهُ بِأُحُدٍ قَالُوا : لَيْتَ مَنْ خَلْفَنَا عَلِمُوا مَا أَعْطَانَا اللَّهُ مِنَ الثَّوَابِ ، لِيَكُونَ أَجْرَأَ لَهُمْ ، فَقَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ : أَنَا أُعْلِمُهُمْ ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى ( وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتًا ) الْآيَةَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ مُرْسَلٌ .

Sa'id bin Jubayr narrated: When Sayyiduna Hamzah (may Allah be pleased with him) and his companions were martyred at the Battle of Uhud, they said: "If only those we left behind knew what reward Allah Almighty has granted us, so that they would be bolder in striving for it." Allah Almighty said: "I will inform them about it." So Allah Almighty revealed this verse: "And do not ever think of those who were killed in the way of Allah as dead."
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy); however,
