Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 1091

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a dead goat, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Its owners would have suffered no harm had they benefited from its hide.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Hammad bin Sa'id al-Barra', whom Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) declared "da'if" (weak). Imam al-Tabarani also recorded something similar from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) as a mawquf narration (his own statement), and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
