قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا .
The saying of Allah the Exalted: "And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together"

وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ : قَالَ : حَبْلُ اللَّهِ : الْجَمَاعَةُ . وَرِجَالُ الْأَوَّلِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، وَالثَّانِي مُنْقَطِعُ الْإِسْنَادِ .
In one narration the words are: He said: The rope of Allah means the Jama'ah (the united community). The narrators of the first narration are the narrators of the Sahih, and the second narration is munqati' (disconnected) in its chain.
