Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 10874

Sayyiduna al-Asqa' al-Bakri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to them on the platform (suffah) of the Muhajirun. A man asked him: "Which verse in the Qur'an is the greatest?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah, there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Self-Sustaining; neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep," until he recited the whole verse.
Allamah al-Haythami says: Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator who is not named, though he has been declared trustworthy, and the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
