Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 10821

In one narration the wording is: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say on the pulpit: "Recite the two verses." After this, the narrator mentioned the hadith as before.
Ahmad, Abu Ya'la and al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Salamah bin al-Fadl, whom Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy), and he said: He makes mistakes. A group declared him da'if (weak). Ibn Lahi'ah corroborated him (mutaba'ah), so the hadith is hasan (good).
