وَعَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَنْ أُصِيبَ فِي جَسَدِهِ بِشَيْءٍ فَتَرَكَهُ لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ، كَانَ كَفَّارَةً لَهُ " . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ مُجَالِدٌ وَقَدِ اخْتَلَطَ .
One of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) narrates: "Whoever is made to suffer some harm in his body and lets it go for the sake of Allah Almighty, that will become an expiation for him."
Ahmad recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Mujalid, whose memory had become confused (ikhtilat).
