Sayyiduna Ismah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) whose eye had been gouged out. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Who struck you?" He said: "The one-eyed man of Banu so-and-so." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) summoned that man, and he came. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Did you gouge out this man's eye?" He replied: "Yes." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ruled against him that he must pay the blood money (diyah), and he said: "We will not gouge out his eye and leave him unable to see at all."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, al-Fadl bin al-Mukhtar, who is da'if (weak).
