Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 1076

It is reported about Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) that he was helping the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) perform ablution from a bowl that was fitted with copper, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) drank water from that vessel.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Ali bin Yazid, who narrates from al-Qasim, and both of these narrators are da'if (weak).
