عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ قَذَفَ ذِمِّيًّا حُدَّ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِسِيَاطٍ مِنْ نَارٍ " . فَقُلْتُ لِمَكْحُولٍ : مَا أَشَدَّ مَا يُقَالُ لَهُ ؟ قَالَ : يُقَالُ لَهُ : يَا ابْنَ الْكَافِرِ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِحْصَنٍ الْعُكَّاشِيُّ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyiduna Wathilah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever accuses a dhimmi of fornication will be given the prescribed punishment on the Day of Resurrection with whips of fire." The narrator says: I asked Makhul: "What is the harshest thing that can be said to him?" He said: "It can be said to him: 'O child of a disbeliever.'"
