عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " لَيْسَ عَلَى الْأَمَةِ حَدٌّ حَتَّى تُحْصَنَ ، فَإِذَا أُحْصِنَتْ بِزَوْجٍ ، فَعَلَيْهَا نِصْفُ مَا عَلَى الْمُحْصَنَاتِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ بِإِسْنَادَيْنِ غَيْرَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عِمْرَانَ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No prescribed punishment (hadd) is due on a slave woman until she becomes muhsan. When she becomes muhsan through marriage, she will be given half the punishment of (free) muhsan women."
Al-Tabarani recorded it with two chains; the narrators of one of them are the narrators of the Sahih, except Abdullah bin Imran, who is in any case thiqah (trustworthy).
