وَعَنْ الْعَجْمَاءِ قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " الشَّيْخُ وَالشَّيْخَةُ إِذَا زَنَيَا فَاجْلِدُوهُمَا الْبَتَّةَ بِمَا قَضَيَا مِنَ اللَّذَّةِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyidah al-Ajma' (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "When the old man and the old woman (that is, a married man and a married woman) commit fornication, then flog them both without fail, in return for the pleasure they took."
