وَعَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - " مَنْ قَعَدَ عَلَى فِرَاشِ مُغَيَّبَةٍ قَيَّضَ اللَّهُ لَهُ ثُعْبَانًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ وَحَدِيثُهُ حَسَنٌ وَفِيهِ ضَعْفٌ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever sits on the bed of a woman whose husband is absent, Allah Almighty will set a serpent upon him on the Day of Resurrection."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Ibn Lahi'ah; his hadith is hasan (good), and there is weakness in him.
