وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " يَا نَعَايَا الْعَرَبِ ، يَا نَعَايَا الْعَرَبِ ، إِنَّ أَخْوَفَ مَا أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمُ الزِّنَا ، وَالشَّهْوَةَ الْخَفِيَّةَ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ بِإِسْنَادَيْنِ رِجَالُ أَحَدِهِمَا رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُدَيْلِ بْنِ وَرْقَاءَ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Yazid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "O you doomed ones of the Arabs! O you doomed ones of the Arabs! What I fear most for you is fornication and hidden desire."
Al-Tabarani recorded it with two chains; the narrators of one of them are the narrators of the Sahih except Abdullah bin Budayl bin Warqa', who is thiqah (trustworthy).
