وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : . . . مِثْلُهُ .
قُلْتُ : مِثْلُ حَدِيثٍ قَبْلَهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " وُضِعَ عَنْ أُمَّتِي الْخَطَأُ ، وَالنِّسْيَانُ ، وَمَا اسْتُكْرِهُوا عَلَيْهِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصَفًّى ، وَثَّقَهُ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ لَا يَضُرُّ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated something similar from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Similar to the hadith before it from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), (he said:) "Mistakes, forgetfulness, and what they are compelled to do have been lifted from my Ummah."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Muhammad bin Musaffa, whom Abu Hatim and others declared thiqah (trustworthy); some criticism has been made of him that does no harm. The rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
