Majma al-Zawaid 1046 — Cleaning oneself with stones

Sayyiduna Tariq bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you use stones (for cleansing), use an odd number, and when you perform ablution (wudu), put water into your nose (and blow it out)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators have been declared trustworthy.
