وَعَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الضُّبَعِيِّ - وَكَانَ قَدْ أَدْرَكَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةَ - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَوْمَ ذِي قَارٍ : " هَذَا أَوَّلُ يَوْمٍ انْتَصَفَتْ فِيهِ الْعَرَبُ مِنَ الْعَجَمِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الشَّاذَكُونِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Bashir bin Yazid al-Dub'i (may Allah be pleased with him), who had also lived in the days of Ignorance (Jahiliyyah), narrates: On the day of the Battle of Dhu Qar, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is the first day on which the Arabs have obtained redress from the non-Arabs."
