Sayyiduna Abu al-Shumus al-Balawi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: On the occasion of passing through the valley of al-Hijr, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade his Companions (from using the water of) the well there. So the one who had kneaded dough threw away his dough, and the one who had prepared hays threw away his hays.
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Ya'qub bin Humayd, and he is da'if (weak); Ibn Hibban declared him trustworthy, and he said: he makes mistakes in one thing after another.
