وَعَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنِ اسْتُشْهِدَ يَوْمَ الطَّائِفِ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ : ثَابِتُ بْنُ ثَعْلَبَةَ ، وَثَعْلَبَةُ الَّذِي يُقَالُ لَهُ : الْجَذْعُ .
وَمِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ ، ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي مُعَاوِيَةَ : رُقَيْمُ بْنُ ثَابِتِ بْنِ ثَعْلَبَةَ .
رَوَاهُمَا الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
وَمِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ ، ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي مُعَاوِيَةَ : رُقَيْمُ بْنُ ثَابِتِ بْنِ ثَعْلَبَةَ .
رَوَاهُمَا الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Ibn Shihab, in naming those who were martyred at the Battle of Ta'if, mentioned, from the Ansar, Sayyiduna Thabit bin Tha'labah (may Allah be pleased with him); this Tha'labah is the one who is called "al-Jadh'". And from the Ansar, from the branch of Banu Amr bin Awf, from the branch of Banu Mu'awiyah, Sayyiduna Ruqaym bin Thabit bin Tha'labah (may Allah be pleased with him). Al-Tabarani recorded both of these reports, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
