بَابٌ فِي مَنِ اسْتُشْهِدَ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ
Those who were martyred on the day of Hunayn

وَعَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنِ اسْتُشْهِدَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي الْعَجْلَانِ : مُرَّةُ بْنُ سُرَاقَةَ بْنِ الْحُبَابِ ، هَكَذَا قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ .
وَاسْتُشْهِدَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي أَسَدٍ : يَزِيدُ بْنُ زَمْعَةَ .
وَرِجَالُهُمَا إِلَى الزُّهْرِيِّ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
وَاسْتُشْهِدَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي أَسَدٍ : يَزِيدُ بْنُ زَمْعَةَ .
وَرِجَالُهُمَا إِلَى الزُّهْرِيِّ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Ibn Shihab, in naming those who were martyred alongside the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) (at the Battle of Hunayn), mentioned: from the Ansar, from the branch of Banu al-Ajlan, Sayyiduna Murrah bin Suraqah bin al-Hubab. Ibn Shihab mentioned it like this. At the Battle of Hunayn, from Quraysh, from the branch of Banu Asad, Sayyiduna Yazid bin Zam'ah (may Allah be pleased with him) was also martyred. The narrators of both of them up to al-Zuhri are the narrators of the Sahih.
