قَالَ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ : أَيْمَنُ بْنُ أُمِّ أَيْمَنَ اسْتُشْهِدَ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ ، وَهُوَ أَيْمَنُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ أَخُو بَنِي عَوْفِ بْنِ الْخَزْرَجِ ، وَهُوَ أَخُو أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ لِأُمِّهِ .
Al-Tabarani says: Sayyiduna Ayman bin Umm Ayman (may Allah be pleased with him) was martyred on the occasion of Hunayn. He is Ayman bin Ubayd, who belongs to the Banu Awf bin al-Khazraj, and he is the half-brother, through the mother, of Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with them both).
