Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Suwayd al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he heard his father, who was one of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), say: We returned with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from the Battle of Khaybar. When Mount Uhud came into his view, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allahu Akbar! This is a mountain that loves us, and we love it."
Ahmad recorded it. The narrator Uqbah was mentioned by Ibn Abi Hatim, who said: Abd al-Aziz narrated from him; and he did not criticise him. I say: in Ahmad's (Musnad), al-Zuhri narrated from him. The remaining narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih.
