وَعَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ : مَا نَسِيتُ قَوْلَهُ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ وَهُوَ يُعَاطِيهِمُ اللَّبَنَ قَدِ اغْبَرَّ شَعْرُ صَدْرِهِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ : "
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِ الْخَيْرَ خَيْرُ الْآخِرَهْ فَاغْفِرْ لِلْأَنْصَارِ وَالْمُهَاجِرَهْ " . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، وَرَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى .
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِ الْخَيْرَ خَيْرُ الْآخِرَهْ فَاغْفِرْ لِلْأَنْصَارِ وَالْمُهَاجِرَهْ " . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، وَرَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى .
Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I have not forgotten these words of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on the day of the Battle of the Trench. He was handing bricks to the people, his chest had become covered in dust, and he was saying: "O Allah! The only good is the good of the Hereafter, so forgive the Ansar and the Muhajirun."
