Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Harith bin Jaz' al-Zubaydi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) urinating while facing the qiblah, and I was the first to tell people about this. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Ibn Majah recorded from this Companion that he was the first person to hear the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbid this, and this indicates that it was abrogated.
Imam Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Ibn Lahi'ah, who is da'if (weak).
