عَنْ بُرَيْدَةَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ : اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ عَلَى الْحَقِّ فَاخْسِفْ بِي ، قَالَ : فَخُسِفَ بِهِ . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Buraydah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: On the day of the Battle of Uhud, a man said: "O Allah! If Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is on the truth, then cause me to sink into the earth!" The narrator says: And he was made to sink into the earth.
